About the role:

As a Sales Engineer, you play a critical role in the manufacturing process. You will work together with other Sales team members to manage and coordinate our customer orders, from the quotation stage until the delivery. You will get the opportunity to interact with many of the big names in the industry, and develop your own network of customers, suppliers and vendors.

In this role, you will:

  • Interpret product Bill of Material (BOM) and drawings to understand customer’s requirements

  • Prepare proposal and tender documents during quotation stage

  • Trigger production Job Launch when Purchase Orders received

  • Monitor consigned items and purchasing of raw materials

  • Monitor purchase orders and delivery schedules

  • Coordinate with other departments to compile and submit documentations as required (e.g. pre-production/final product documents, concessions/non-conformances)

  • Coordinate with other departments to manage production issues

  • Update and manage open order reports

  • Serve as Project Lead for various projects/tasks

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline

  • Highly motivated and driven

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills

  • Conscientious and detailed-oriented

  • Analytical, resourceful, and possess problem-solving capabilities

  • Proficient in MS Office software (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

  • Strong project management and time management skills

  • Knowledge/interest in oilfield components and equipment will be an advantage
