About the role:
As a management trainee, you will go through a bespoke 2-year rotation with opportunities in several departments, including Sales, Purchasing, Engineering, Production and Quality, to learn about the different functions, policies and staff duties.
With training a vital part in an employee’s development at AME International, you will learn how to identify and apply important business strategies and processes. You will also be given opportunities to hone your analytical and reporting skills, and also presentation skills.
At the end of the programme, you can decide on which department you would like to continue in and we will provide you with more training to further develop in those areas.
Throughout the Programme, you will:
Develop an in-depth understanding of the company’s business model, products services and processes
Learn how to assess and implement strategies to achieve company’s desired outcomes
Build clear links between how different departments work together to measure and improve operational performance
Establish relationships with colleagues, clients and key partners
Bachelor in business, engineering or related discipline
Strong communication both verbally and in writing
Comfortable presenting to senior stakeholders
Able to think through problems in a structured and analytical manner
Work well in teams but also stepping up as a leader when required
Proficient in MS Office software (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
Knowledge/interest in oilfield components and equipment will be an advantage
