We are committed to providing top-notch quality products and services to our clients. Through the use of state of the art technologies and machineries, we have total confidence in meeting the most exacting standards of our clients.

Our Story

AME International was born from a bold vision by Mr. Steven Toy back in 1996. Armed with just S$15,000 savings and a welder, what started as a modest two-man operation has since transformed into a global engineering powerhouse that redefines precision engineering. Through strategic acquisitions, AME International has steadily expanded its technical capabilities, industry reach, and global footprint.

2006 – Acquisition of EDM Engineering

The acquisition of EDM Engineering marked AME International’s entry into the marine and offshore sector, significantly strengthening our heavy fabrication and offshore systems capabilities.

2016 – Acquisition of Fifth Engineering

This strategic move enabled AME International to establish a presence in the aerospace industry, adding high-precision machining capabilities and aerospace-grade certifications to our portfolio.

2018 – Acquisition of TQC Precision Engineering

Expanding our role in the semiconductor space, this acquisition brought advanced micro-precision manufacturing capabilities tailored to the semiconductor and electronics sectors.

2022 – Acquisition of AT&S

The acquisition of AT&S marked a key shift into downstream integration, expanding AME’s capabilities in supply chain management and distribution, and enhancing our value proposition to clients.

2023 – Acquisition of AME International UK

With the acquisition and rebranding of a manufacturing facility in the United Kingdom, AME International established its first international production base, reinforcing its global presence and improving responsiveness to European markets.

As we continue to grow, AME International remains steadfast in our commitment to operational excellence, technical innovation, and customer success. Our goal is to be your partner of choice for advanced manufacturing—delivering complex, mission-critical solutions that empower our clients to innovate, scale, and lead in their respective industries.

Our Core Capabilities

Precision Machining

At the heart of our operations lies Precision Machining, the discipline of manufacturing components to exacting tolerances with exceptional repeatability. We specialise in producing complex, high-accuracy parts for industries where reliability and performance are non-negotiable — from aerospace and semiconductor to marine & offshore and advanced manufacturing.

Our facilities are equipped with state-of-the-art CNC machines, multi-axis turning and milling centres, and rigorous quality control systems. This allows us to handle everything from prototype development to high-volume production while maintaining micron-level precision.

Beyond machinery, our strength is our engineering know-how. We work closely with clients at the design and development stages to optimise manufacturability, material selection, and cost efficiency. Our experienced team ensures each component meets or exceeds the strictest international standards.

Whether it’s ultra-tight tolerances, exotic materials, or complex geometries, our precision machining capability enables customers to bring their most demanding ideas to life—on time and on spec.

CNC Precision Machining

We obtained our first fleet of CNC machines in 2010 when we were venturing into machining bigger parts to grow our businesses. Right now, we have floors of almost 150 CNC machines ranging from small to medium and large size capable of performing highly complex operations. Our limitations of maximum swing, length and weight that our machines can handle are constantly being expanded.

  • Maximum Swing: 2.5 metres

  • Maximum Length: 8 metres

  • Maximum Weight: 20 tonnes

  • A fleet of more than 150 CNC machines catering for complex operations

  • Team of highly experienced internal engineering support

  • Ceramics

Engineering Expertise

Led by our strong team of engineers, we are able to grow in our engineering knowledge to conquer some of the more complex profiles in the manufacturing industry. Our engineers excel to create unique manufacturing processes, design and development of specialised tooling and fixtures, as well as generating 3D drawings & printings and performing machining simulations.

EDM Capabilities

Also known as Electrical Discharge Machining. Generally, we would do wire-cutting for parts with a simple geometry yet high accuracy. For a more complex or irregular profile, we would opt for die-sinking process which can produce very detailed features of the job.
